The name TKM stands for "The Knife Manufacturers - a globally active group of companies that manufactures machine knives and machine components for the paper, wood, metal, plastics, rubber and recycling processing industries. The production of machine knives was started in 1908. The group has production sites in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Finland. Products are distributed through the company's own sales force, subsidiaries, joint venture partners and representatives.
